Gender and Birth Rate
Chad's gender rate is very basic, more men than women in early life, while there are more women than men later in life. Overall, there are more women than men in Chad. The birth rate in Chad is around 5.7 children per woman, which is 5th in the world. This puts a strain on the country because there is more demand for resources.
Population Policy
The point of Chad's population policy is to contribute to research to improve the quality of life for its population.
This goal hasn't worked out, Chad's population is over 16 million and their poverty rate is over 46.7%. They also have a very high death rate (around 11.8 per 1000 people), so there isn't good quality of life for Chadians right now.

Immigration PolicyChad doesn't really have need for immigrants, and there aren't many people that move there because it is the third poorest country in the world.
Chad has had a lot of help from other countries and the UN refugee organization is now thinking of making asylum centers for asylum seekers, which some people think will bring more immigrants who want to seek asylum which is not the point. |
Population Growth
Chad's population is increasing at a rate of 3% yearly. They already have limited resources and there is no population growth policies.
Chad's Fertility rate and its Impact (Day 9)
Chad's current fertility rate is 5.6 births per woman, which is a lot, but it's on a decline from the 7.4 births per woman peak in 1998. The UN projects the birth rate to go down an entire birth by 2032. This intense increase in population has major affects on Chad's resources. more than 65% of Chad's 15.5mil. population lives in extreme poverty. Geography also links into this because most people live in the southern part of Chad where it is more resource-rich. Since nobody can really survive in the desert, people congregate around water sources, but a place can only support so many people, especially when that place is a desert.
